HISTORY

In September 2018, Victoria Hand's COO, Michael Peirone, traveled to Uganda alongside Nia Technologies to visit the local clinics and see what the need was for upper limb prosthetic devices in the Uganda area. After visiting CoRSU Hospital, it was clear that there was a great need and CoRSU partnered with VHP soon afterwards in October 2018. Uganda is the seventh country to deploy the Victoria Hand, made possible thanks to the Google Impact Challenge funding.

CoRSU Hospital serves patients from around Uganda, as well as from surrounding areas such as South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Donate today to give a helping hand to an amputee in need.
